The largest of Africa’s big cats, the lion is a powerful and impressive animal. Lions are  perpetually interesting subjects due to their highly social nature. Observation of pride life can reveal a great deal about how the individual members relate and their roles in the pride. Cubs, of course, are just amazing to observe as they play, pounce, and discover the world around them.
